Online Classes

AKC FIT DOG LEVELS 1-3

If you’ve been thinking about starting fitness with your dog or have been interested in getting the FIT DOG titles for your dog, this is the class for you! FIT DOG classes give you over half the points you need for your title and will introduce you to some foundation fitness skills.

I am a certified canine strength and conditioning coach (CSCC) and an AKC FIT DOG evaluator. I am offering levels 1-3 of AKC FIT DOG beginning December 7th and running for the following 5 weeks (but with a few extra weeks at the end to finish content because of the holidays!) with the option to take the assessment after the last week. Classes will be held asynchronously through Facebook groups where content videos will be posted weekly. Working spots are $70 and include the course content, unlimited posted videos/dog specific questions for instructor feedback, and the assessment. Auditing spots are also available for $30 and will include all course content and the assessment, as well as general questions.

Multiple dogs: If you want unlimited feedback for multiple dogs, all working spots after the first will be half off. If you are auditing or only want feedback for one dog, the class will be an extra $10 per extra dog for the final assessment.

INTRO TO TREIBBALL

Treibball, also known as “urban herding”, is a problem-solving game that is a cross between billiards and soccer, requiring both distance skill and teamwork. This is a fun, safe, and challenging sport for all types of dogs. This class explores the basics of “ball driving” and you will build up the foundational skills: targeting, finding and building balance, impulse control, increasing distance, and ball driving.

I am a NATE instructor and skills evaluator and I actively train and compete in treibball. Unlike many other dog sports, treibball titling/competing can be done virtually so it can be a great sport for reactive or fearful dogs who may not be able to compete in-person.

Class will begin December 7th and run for the following 6 weeks (with some extra weeks at the end to finish up content because of the holidays). Classes will be held asynchronously through a private Facebook group where content videos will be posted weekly, so you can view lessons and complete HW anytime! Working spots are $100. They will include the course content and unlimited posted videos/dog specific questions for instructor feedback. Auditing spots are also available for $60 and will allow you to view all course content and ask general questions. There will be some equipment required for the class. I will post a list in the FB group when you’re added but if you have questions about this before registering send me a message!

Multiple dogs: If you want unlimited feedback for multiple dogs, all working spots after the first will be half off. If you are auditing or only want feedback for one dog, there’s no charge for additional dogs!

If you’re not sure whether to do a working spot or an auditing spot or have any other questions, shoot me a message!
